I'm a total Geography nerd and I love this kind of stuff. Carving out of bedrock is tough work, usually takes us humans some gelignite to even put a dent in it.

Unfortunately the so-called "young Earth creationists" I've met have little to no understanding of science, geology in particular, and completely discount carbon dating, not based on any 1st hand investigation, but merely through indoctrination via their church of choice.
