The cereal brands being recalled include Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, Froot Loops, and Honey Smacks. The cereals being recalled have the letters "KN" next to the "Better if Used Before Data" are included in the recall, Kellogg said.

Kellogg is voluntarily recalling 28 million boxes of cereal today.

The reason for the recall is due to "uncharacteristic off-flavor

and smell coming from the liner in the package." Some reports

describe the smell and taste as a "waxy" smell and flavor

coming from the package liners, and may cause people to get

sick. Kellogg spokeswoman J. Adaire Putnam said

the recall came after 20 people complained about the smell and

taste, including 5 people who got sick with nausea and vomiting.

The cereal on the recall list include;

*Apple Jacks

*Corn Pops

*Froot Loops

*Honey Smacks

Kellogg is currently trying to identify the substance on the liner

that's causing the problem. Kellogg said there was low potential

for serious health problems if the cereal is consumed.

The cereals being recalled have the letters "KN" next to the

"Better if Used Before Data".

Hmmm....Chinese melamine lining comes to mind, or perhaps the gmo's Kelloggs is using. Either way what is sad is the biggest consumer of these products are children.
Smell your cereal before eating it!! Is it really coming to that?
One more reason to give up eating processed crap!

Ya know oatmeal(steel cut) have been doing me fine since I gave up milk and processed foods.

Nice find,
Peace

I don't really eat cereal in the summer.

Eating milk products then going out in the heat and sun can have some adverse affects.

Guess thats a good thing considering those are some of my favorite cereals.
