The prime minister harshly and openly criticized the media Tuesday, accusing it for the first time of supporting a terrorist organization, while the opposition held the government’s Kurdish move responsible for the increased terror attacks.

Is it just me, or does anyone else see a growing pattern of governments blaming everyone but themselves for any problems that arise?

Of course one could make an argument that the shock and awe images that has become such a part of journalism since the dawn of the television age, is in fact a large problem. We have all seen this happen especially since Vietnam where the images were broadcast every day. It seems to me there is more than enough blame to be passed around to both governments and the news organizations.

It makes it all the more important for everyone to do their own research.
