This is probably nothing big but a few things seemed out of the ordinary, so here ya go.

Oakridge Mall, San Jose, CA.

Got out of the movies (Iron Man 2 - cool movie!) and saw a bit of some sort of mist in the air. There was a slight electrical fire smell and maybe lithium grease.

My first thought was an air-conditioning unit caught fire...

But things just seemed a little off. No one knew anything but all the stores were fully shut down, all lights out on one half of the mall. Then on the other side of the mall Target store was kicking everyone out. Might be common safety practices to close the entire mall if any fire is reported... but - the food court and movies, maybe 200 feet away were fully operational still!

I snapped a picture on the way out of a ladder truck but overall I saw 6+ fire vehicles, and cops were blocking all the entrances.

Again - probably nothing, just sharing for that just-in-case of other info thing.

Interesting, couldn't find anything newsworthy online yet. Guess it has to be `sensational` enough before it's news.
