Humor aside, the question remains as to whether this will be applied as a solution.

Ineffective. Anyone ever heard of Paul Stamats? He is a mycologist.

He did an experiment with 3 piles of crude oil gunk. One was treated with enzymes, another with these oil eating microbes, and the last with his fungus.

While the first two piles still looked like black gunk the fungus pile was growing plants on its surface and no longer looked black. Paul says it would work in water as well..

My question... why aren't they calling him?
