According to the model, the high energy collision of dark matter particles would result the production of both matter and antimatter (positrons). Nothing special there, normal matter does the same thing but because dark matter is supposed to be very massive, a disproportionate amount of antimatter would be produced from dark matter reactions.

Last year evidence of an overabundance of positrons was found by PAMELA. This was interpreted by some to be strong evidence of the existence of dark matter. However, the recent observation of SN 2005E shows that other processes could account for the excess positrons. But there were questions about the positron hypothesis before this. Bottom line is that it neither validates nor invalidates the existence of dark matter.

IMHO.

We need to bring the Aether model back in. It honestly makes alot of sense.

Aether isn't that similar to dark energy ?

Thanks for the info. So I only understand just a small part of it.
I've got lots more to learn. Maybe one day I'll get there.
