What do you think is the truth here, is modern man suffering from disonance or living a paradox?

I suppose some examples in literature of disonance would be Kafka's The Trial, Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment, and Camus' The Stranger.

While paradox would be films like The Departed and Pulp Fiction.

Perhaps the question of whether God is indeed dead has not been settled.
Perhaps established traditions are empty but too ingrained in our psyches to perish.
Perhaps it is time for the bold to create new symbols for truth.

What do you think?

I think that life is a paradox but that's what makes it interesting, in fact I think it's quite funny. Actually maybe not so much paradox as it is irony? I'm not sure now. Interesting post though.
