A path of concrete that was straight ,easy to put one foot in front of the other
Trees of summer shed their leaves ...autumn leaves came to stay
That shadow rose inside and love it stole
Stole my love
Stole my love
Stole my love
Left me fighting for a glimpse of caring , of warmth and the sharing
Left me alone like a dirty beggar on a summers festive night
Stole my love
Stole my love
Stole my love
Alone alone alone , lost my home, lost my home, lost my home
Sole my love
Never give in
Never give in
never give up
never give up
never give up

I really enjoy your writings.

Will try to respond tomorrow.

"Like a dirty beggar on a summers' festive night . . ."

Was that me . . . once ?

I have fallen only a few times in my life.
One of the hardest tumbles was for you.

It was not easy getting back on my feet.
I've never been the same since.

You wouldn't know me now.

Someone came in ! Stole from me !
Stole you ! Stole you . . . away !

I try not to give up.

You wouldn't know me now.
I've never been the same since.

Autumn leaves, dusk till dawn,
Autumn leaves, . . . since you've gone.

I sat behind dusted window panes , vainly searching for you
But you and that smug Boris were away in spain laughin and loving getting high on each other all the time
Then one day the sorrow inside subsided.
Boris had been run over by a crazy blind guy on a ride on mower
Soon I will sweep away the Autumn leaves , that litter the path between me and love, and through clear eyes I will see you again.
