I came across the work of Mark Evans and was so impressed I had to find out more about him:
Mark Evans: Leather Artist

While being in awe of artists who can create "photo quality" work, but not generally a fan, I find his style, methods and choice of medium stunning.

Thats pretty amazing. All of his background work is sort of dark though in my opinion. All of the pictures have an undesirably dark brownish-yellow tone in the background. Not true to life but maybe thats an effect he intended.
