FBI can perform search and seizure without warrant!

I was reviewing some legal jargon concerning domestic terrorism, and came across the
Attorney General Guidelines on General Crimes, Racketeering
Enterprises, and Domestic Security/Terrorism Investigations.

8. Searches and seizures must be conducted under the authority of a valid warrant unless the search or seizure comes within a judicially recognized exception to the warrant requirement. See also, Attorney General's Guidelines on Methods of Obtaining Documentary Materials Held by Third Parties;

9. Whenever an individual is known to be represented by counsel in a particular matter, the FBI shall follow applicable law and Department procedure concerning contact with represented individuals in the absence of prior notice to their counsel.

An exception to the authorization requirement may be made in emergency situations, where the immediacy of the need to seize the materials does not permit an opportunity to secure authorization from the attorney for the government. In such situations the application may be authorized by a supervisory law enforcement officer in the applicant's department or agency.

So there you have it folks. If TPTB decides your a domestic terrorist, they don't even need a warrant to ransack your home, arrest you, etc. A supervisory law enforcement officer can authorize it.

God help you if you piss off the cops/FBI

There are exceptions to the warrant requirement, meaning that law enforcement can go into a house if they believe a crime is taking place or a life is in danger. Some have no knock warrants which allow them to just enter.

But the fundamental problem of being called a terrorist by the government is an immediate stripping of all rights civil, legal and natural. I personally am not surprised by this, however good proof.

This might explain why they showed up with so many officers to make a big deal of the situation. They can claim it was an emergency situation of National Security importance...

Truth is, nothing is needed for search and seizure anymore. If you can be classified as a potential terrorist(and EVERYBODY can be classified as such) then you can be searched, seized, detained....all without trial or warrant or representation.

this reminds me of a story:

a treasury guy walks up to a farmer and says "I have to search your property for a still" ... the farmer says "ok, as long as you dont venture in to that northern pasture" .. the treasury guys whips out his badge and say he can go anywhere he likes,.. the farmer reluctantly acknowledged his authority... and about 30 mins, went by and the farmer heard that treasury guy yelling, HELP~!, so, the farmer looked up and the treasury guy was running for all he could... with the farmers prize bull in charge... the farmer said "Show Him - Your Badge" and started laughing...
