Avatar background colour is missing

Hi

The background colour I got for my avatar from the ATS store is missing. Is this because they only last a certain time or is it just not loading today? Ive checked other members who also have this background and theirs is still there.

Im just wondering where mine is?

I see a background color: turquoise type blue.

Do you mean a background image? You need to use the 2nd code under the image in your MATS folder. Then choose "background image" in the store.

Was it an image or a solid color?

If it is an image, where did you have it hosted? In your image uploads on ATS or on the media portal?

I'm currently not seeing an avatar, color background, or profile image background at all for you.

The mini profile is completely blank.

It was/is a blue background I got from the ATS store in exchange for points. It was there yesterday but gone today.

How odd than GEL can see it but you and I can't.

What is the color code you used? If needed, I can make a png image of it and you can use it as a background image that will repeat. It's free and will look like a solid background color.

That won't get us to the core of the issue but it would at least get the color back until we can figure out what is going on.

I use Vista/Win7/IE8

Mr. Green, paste the following code into the background IMAGE space in your ATS store. It's free:

Try that and see what happens.

I did that and it took points away and still no colour

I will try loading a normal picture avatar, that I have stored see if that works.

Are you sure? How many points? Background images are free.

Please make sure you placed that in the background IMAGE slot. Not the background COLOR slot (which charges 250 and won't work for that).

'Custom mini-profile background image' is what it's called. The code you want to paste in should be:

/member/fbc241c782f2.png

It should be free and work unless your profile altogether is rejecting colors, images, and avatars for some reason.

Sorry this is happening to you. And we can get a super to restore whatever points this glitch has cost you once we get this set up for you.

I see the same blue background color that GEL posted a shot of..

I dont see that dark blue colour but this avatar has loaded, guess the light blue background has gone, oh well, not sure why but yes if you could fix the points and maybe my light blue will return ...??

Yay. Glad that worked.

I've tried to resolve a similar issue. I think my code is all messed up or something. I can't change anything in my profile because there are no buttons and when I view the thread list, everything is listed left to right rather than up and down. Any help?

Maybe AshleyD can provide you with a code similar to the one she gave me. My main profile background colour is different to my posting avatar but at least the colour is there now.

I dont know how profile codes get mixed up like this, one thought I had was that changing the avatar image may do this.
