I've worked with people on innovative cutting edge technology mostly in communications. There are always stories of companies buying up new developments to keep them off the market. They often true.

But in the end the innovators and the fat cat monopolists want to make money. Nothing stays hidden that is radically better and will generate profits.

In this day and age one can easily patent a process or design and then shop it around.

And again, if there is an energy saving more efficient less expensive source of power, there are many places willing to fund it even if it still needs much development and refinement.

Myself I dismiss this urban legend of magical secret processes bought up by mega-corporations and hidden forever. So do straightforward people who have worked extensively in any field of research.

The basic thing that is needed to understand where the free energy is coming from is to consider that the Earth is in motion at 18.5 miles per second. The next question to ask is "Where do we connect our windmill?"

If you spent any time at all actually listening to the inventors and other people in the alt energy community tell their stories, you would know that.

The big corporations are NOT on our side here.

This type of thing has always happened and it is naive to think it isn't still happening.

The issue is that some technology can change the market in such a way that those in control would risk losing control if the game changed so dramatically.

For those in control it is the smartest move to keep things as they are.

Despite unprecedented security measure the Russians had the technology almost immediately, then other countries.

When there is big money to be made there are no secrets.

Copyright for a new invention or discovery or patent is automatic since 1978. Retroactive filings can be made for earlier ones. Mysteriously we never hear about anyone refiling for something they sold off technologically, but it happens all the time with media and creative properties.

There will always be urban legends of great technologies bought up and concealed.

I'm not going to change you mind if you think the world is run like a bad movie script.

Anything that can make a lot of money isn't kept secret for too long.

There are probably innovations for more efficient dry cleaning methods, accounting software, chicken plucking machines, that are kept off the market by those with proprietary processes.

No one would hide something like a radically more efficient means of energy harnessing that could generate billions, not even a billionaire control freak.

Bur believe the myths if it makes you feel good.

No matter how profitable it might be it would not be worth risking control for someone who already has unlimited resouces and power.

Risking firm control over the game itself is worth NO ammount of paper currency.

On topic, I observe a lot of predators like Greer capitalizing on people's desire for instant miraculous change.

Disclosure will bring an new era of enlightenment.
