Global warming , or something else ?

Could it be that we have this global warming thing all wrong ? Could it be at all possible that it's not Global warming that we see , but rather the early signs of a pole shift ?

Could we be seeing ice melting in some places do to a shifting of the pole , waiting to form new ice plates once the shifting starts to settle down ?

We have all herd how pole shift have happened before in Earths history and we have also been told that we can expect it to happen again at some point in our future .

We have also been told that places such as the Ant Arctic were once tropical lush lands . Could this lush land have been buried long ago do to a polar shift ?

If the pre Ant Arctic plate was over open water before the previous pole shift , would there be any evidence ? Or would the open ocean have simple swallowed up any such evidence ?

A magnetic pole shift where the north and south poles magnetic charge has occured, but it is unknown wether a complete pole reversal where the earth flips, has occured
