Something's emerging on SOHO....

Does anyone have any insight on this object moving in from the right hand side of the image?...I know a large CME discharged in this direction on Dec. 4th. and wonder if anyone has any info on what this is.

Also, if you watch the MPEG movie for LASCO C3, you will see some odd shadowing occur on each side of sun.

Interesting. If you are referring to the object (light) at the right of the screen, it looks like it may be a meteor except for that the image looks as if it would be traveling from left to right instead of right to left.

The shadowing I think is just from the expulsion?
