This is a story that was on my local news channel last night, i have done a search for any other threads but found nothing, so here it is

Interesting how the military took it away and classified it as "space junk", let me know your thoughts.

I don't think there is any conspiracy here, nor any alien/ufo side to this story. I would expect the authorities to wanna take it back to a lab and give it a once over rather than just chucking it in the nearest trash bin since it isn't natural debris.
