This film staring Adam Sandler was a surprise. I'm not quite sure if I believed Sandlers role; perhaps I wasn't supposed to believe it. This film worked on many subtle levels, including surreality. Written and directed by Judd Apatow with a very adult profane script that seemed reaching at times and characterizations you could almost care about. Especially the Seth Rogen character. Parts of the movie were so choreographed that it gave a feel of unreality and fantasy.

I don't even know if I liked this movie.

I like when Sandler does darker roles, "Reign over me".
I did like this film, I thought it had some real classic moments.
I think the idea of this film is that these people are just real people dealing with real life situations with real repercussions.

That is the complete opposite to how you saw it.

Don't go into it expecting the usual slapstick type humour that comes from Sandler, Rogen and Apatow.

I really liked it, give it another go.
