Here's a prediction/prophecy conundrum to ponder.
Let's say a Renaissance painter were able to see the future and become inspired to paint a beautiful red sports car. He paints it as close as he can
from his mind's eye with but a few errors. But to any modern person its undeniable as to what it is. So he hides it away in his own personal
collection for his eyes only. The room is forgotten upon the painters death.
Time passes. A car designer purchases the painter's home and has it renovated. And during the renovations, a small room is discovered with the
private paintings hidden within. The car designer marvels at the find. He can't wrap his head around the fact that this painting, from the
Renaissance, is of a beautiful red sports car.
After awhile, he decides to recreate the car in the picture and he uses it as the main drawing from which to create it. After much work, the car is
complete. It is a one of a kind. And it turns out from our perspective, that it is the very same car that the painter saw in his mind's eye.
Now the question is, who really created the design of this car? If the painter copied an image of the future, and the designer copied it to build the
car the painter saw, who came up with the original design in the first place?
