Birth defect family’s win court battle

Not sure if any of you are aware of this but a group of family’s has just one a case against Corby Borough Council (in Britain) with regards to Birth defects in 18 young People.

After a steel works closure in the 80's the cancel begun a cleanup operation between 1985 - 1999.

It was during this "clean up" that the town was said to be permanently covered in a toxic dust cloud and this was when the pregnant women ingested the toxins that they claim caused the birth defects.

The council, at one stage of the court case, claimed that the mother accusations were delusional and that this cluster of defects was normal.

Personally I think it goes to show much how much crap industry produces... if it can do this to people who live near to the works I dread to think what it’s doing to local wildlife.

It’s tragic but this sort of thing is happening all over the world but with far less publicity... just so we can maintain this unsustainable lifestyle
