NASA experts don't agree with eachother? *Alignment with Galaxy*

No, this is an Internet hoax, with no basis in fact. There is no alignment of planets or of the Sun with the Galaxy. As far as being in the center of the Galaxy, this is impossible; we are slowly orbiting the galactic center at a distance of about 30,000 light years. The idea of a “pole shift” is also unfounded. Most people seem to mean a rapid change in the rotational pole of the Earth, but this is something that has never happened and never will. Some people are confusing this with the reversal of the magnetic poles on Earth, which does take place regularly, every few hundred thousand years. But there is no evidence that this might happen soon, and even if it did, the magnetic shift would be gradual and there would probably be no consequences on the planet, certainly nothing catastrophic. From what I see NASA is wrongly thinking that the conspiracy entails our sun being IN the centre of the galaxy on Dec. 21 2012; whereas the conspiracy actually says that the sun will LINE UP with the centre of our galaxy along the galactic plane.

Not to say that experts do not disagree with each other. They do, often, on numerous subjects and in public, and that's basically the way science works. By trying to resolve said disagreements.

Edit to add:
The sun will always "line up" with the center of the galaxy. 2 points in space. You can always draw a line between those 2. Now for the plane: 1000 lightyears thick. IIRC it takes the sun 30.000 years to travel through it and we are on our way out atm, not in.

watch the video from the start. he says it does every year on December 21th.

Video he says:

"Turns out if you go to December 21th and look at the star charts, its true. The center of the galaxy, the Sun and the Earth we come in perfect alignment, it will, it's true, its true. What the site does not tell you is that it happens every year on December 21th."

And now to confuse you: both are correct.

In one case they talk about how it looks like from earth. (Sun rising where in relation to the milkyway in the sky)

And in the other actual position of the solar system in relation to the disk/center.
