The most lucrative job in Washington these days just might be health care lobbyist -- as prominent interest groups announce plans to pour millions of
dollars into fighting over President Obama's efforts to create a universal health care system.

Companies in the health industry spent $3.4 Billion ($3,409,779,232) lobbying the U.S. Congress over the last 10 years.

The U.S. Congress has started deliberation on reforming the healthcare system in the U.S. Thier goal is to implement their plan by 2013. It's likely
that we will see the economy continue to deteriorate over the next 3 years, following the great depression timeline, as the pressure is increased upon
the nation to change.
Unfortunatly Congress couldn't legislate themselves out of a paper bag.
They haven't realized yet that they need to trash the entire system. Get rid of Medicare, Medicaid, Department of Indian affairs medical care,
Military healthcare, and Federal employee healthcare.
Employers, state and local governments will be able pass along savings on products, services and taxes if they are able to get rid of workmans
compensation, healthcare premiums and 50 different healthcare programs for the poor.
Auto liability insurance would get cheaper as well. After all isn't it all about paying other people's medical bills?
They also need to limit the amount that the lawyers can sue for and limit phamecuetical profits.
Only then can they reform the system.
With a functioning basic system for the masses private insurers could provide paying customers (Rich or well off people) with a fast lane to better
quality service at competitive pricing.
So as you can see, this will never happen in a million years. America is completly incapable of working together to provide for it's citizens. The
whole system must fail, before we can see any improvement.
I vote for anarchy.
No system is better than the dysfuntional system that we have now.
