Germany Prepares to Censor Internet

The OP's first link mentions people e-mailing the service provider with the offending sites addresses,sounds plausible enough and it seems a lot of Gemans have done just that.
A simpler solution is for a sevice provider to monitor any new sites,they are so lazy and leave it all to the automation process.
It is their responsibilty noone elses.The OP's second link is just plain weird,and makes no sense at all.

What's the first thing you do to get people to support your agenda?

You create an enemy we can all agree with.

Create as many enemies as you need to eventually gain full control.

IMHO, Stupid people will always rally behind a cause if you can get them to agree that there is an enemy to combat.

Kiddie porn is the first enemy...... perhaps next will be the closure of Facebook because of the "enemies" conspiring to attack Americans.

It is happening on a level unprecedented..

The Government will always create an enemy, by exploiting and SACRIFICING weak minded scum bags.

Enemies can also be created by lowering the social status of one group of people below another (Nazis, White Supremacists, pedophiles, gays, Jews etc.), through propaganda and economical manipulation.

That second link made me want to wretch. Encouraging, even berating, parents for NOT molesting their children? WTF? Never heard of the site it is on, and for that reason, I hope and pray that it is some BS, unsourced report. I really hope so, because to believe that a western, civilized, highly advanced country like Germany pushing incestuous sex abuse as something healthy and good and important to parenting simply makes me sick beyond measure.

Child porn should be banned, true. After all, you need real live kids to make the porn, and making it involves sexually abusing said kids. Thus, it doesn't prevent child abuse, in it's making it performs child abuse. And I don't believe that access to child porn will keep pedos from abusing kids. Fantasy is seldom enough for these degenerates, and they easily move on to the real thing with little motivation. It is not like normal adults watching normal porn. the fact that they like kids already shows severe mental defects, and their sexuality is completely different from normal people.

But back on topic, yeah. they are using the blocking of child porn sites to introduce censorship. And what will they consider "child porn" if they are actually encouraging child sex abuse by parents in the first place?

Internet censorship is a bad idea with a slippery slope just waiting for abuse. Plus, the internet censorship stategy makes no sense.

Child pornography is illegal, so go after the people breaking the law instead of the entire medium.

Killing someone by running them over with a car is illegal. You prosecute the individual driving the car and would not attempt to make cars illegal or punish the entire auto industry. The point is just go after the individuals breaking the law and not attempt to censor the internet.

Exactly, and by using your logic, it proves to me that Child Porn is not the true reason for these actions.
It's just the face the Government is using to help gently ease into your life and control it.
