Sounds sinister doesn't it?

God appears to have created a schism between people from the very beginning.

Yes, just like he created a "schism" between the sky and the sea. Or between matter and anti matter. In that passage "G-d" is consutling with the angels or whatever if man should be created in the first place, especially in light if how they supposedly saw how we would fudge everything up so much up along the way. Yet they did it anyway, suckers.

A schism between the different peoples of the earth.

And Jesus came with a sword to divide.

The bible is filled with schisms. I believe confucianism mearly accepts schism as existing, but refuses to play a part.

Socrates taught to question everything, even if it brought you at odds with those who came before.

Confucius taught to question, but to accept those who came before as being right.

So this begs the question.

Can the best innovation come from a blend of the confuciuian and socratian form of thought?

The use of 'us' and 'them' doesn't show a reference to our modern idea of "us versus them". It simply shows the counsel of the Godhead (I do not believe he was deliberating with angels, but between the members of the Triune Godhead...we are not made in the image of seraphs and cherubs).

And there is a distinction between God and Man, so there is no schism, but a necessary creature/Creator distinction. Like it or not, we are not now and never will be divine. So, naturally, there is a distinction between the divine 'us' in that verse and the human 'them'.

There is, however, a divide brought about by Adam's fall. This is seen in God's promise to Eve, that her offspring would be at enmity with the offspring of the serpent. From this point on in the Bible, we see combat between the forces of God's children and the forces of Satan's children. Cain, who did not find favor with God, slew his brother, Abel. He did this because of jealousy and was the first incident of persecution.

And on and on it goes even to the end of the New Testament, where we see the culmination of this enmity between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. On the Last Day, the seed of the serpent (as well as the serpent himself) is finally crushed and the seed of the woman triumphs as Christ judges His enemies and exalts His people.

What god head?

I don't see a god head in genesis. I see an "us" passing themselves off as a God to "them", which is probably those who aren't in on the mind scam.

They are the Lord God and his buddy regular God, they got drunk one night while they were on Earth (Earth had a hell of a nightlife back then.) they met this hot chick named Mother Nature... and well now they have the illegitimate sons, thats us.

moral of the story: always use protection, even if your God.

Everyone is technically "god". It is called son and father because the father is all knowing, the son is the father, but instead of knowing all only has a very limited perception. This is needed to have the experience of time, change and reality. The "ride". Kind of like if everyone knew what the cards were going to be in a poker game, you can't have the game because nobody is going to bet when they know they will lose. Have to have a limited perception for the experience itself.

Thus why sins are sins "against" god. Because he is within all. It is the father within that gives you the ability to be an "observer" and to know what it means to be. Without the father, there is no understanding and you would be nothing more than a robot. The war on god = war on consciousness/free will/souls.

So, apparently it was common knowledge among "them", and as they were in touch with the father, they do "his will".

But I disagree that is what creates the us and them. Because they are not the "them" of the us vs them.

The us vs them of this world is expressed in the bible as because "you are not of this world". What does that mean? The universe is based on action and reaction. Because of this we can make a rocket, give it the right action exactly and get the reactions we want out of it. IE: We can control things that are based on action and reaction.

As "we" are not of this world, we are conscious and have souls. We are not bound to action and reaction and thus we can not be controlled so easily. If the rocket had a choice, you wouldn't know where it might go. So, as you have free will and freedom, you are hated by "them". Your soul is what gives you free will, it is the gift from god. What does it mean to sell your soul? It means to sell your free will in exchange for something. To become a puppet.

The game of this world is to try and reduce people to a level of action and reaction in their thinking. Because why? Because then they can introduce certain actions in order to get the reactions wanted out of the people. Mostly done with fear, which is created largely from the unknown and manipulation. At which point, for those people choice is merely an illusion between those with power, and those without. Because part of free will is the ability to give it away.

As well, the reason man was put here and quarentined to this planet without the technology is because we do not have understanding of good and evil. As we are now capable and will do evil, this is done to protect those who were either wise enough to choose the right way, or those who just aren't capable of evil.

Because the presence of evil in a society means the society itself has to change for it. We have to have our own evils like police and governments because evil exists here. If there were no evil or crime, there wouldn't be a need for police and governments. So as the founding fathers said, they were deemed a necessary evil. But evil by their nature and actions because of what they do. Thus why it is so important to keep it very limited, otherwise as history has shown it grows to be the one to worry about.

Easy to understand. If we left our home for 20 years, and we came back we'd probably have been robbed and so forth. Because we have evil in the world. If we lived in a society that did not have evil, no big deal. Nobody will touch it. Not to mention the crimes themselves against those beings etc.

So, you are here to gain knowledge of good vs evil, and then hopefully have wisdom to make the correct choice. And that is where the commandments come in, and where Jesus is a example of how to follow them. At which point when you no longer do those things, then you can get "out". And I'm not talking about worshiping and idol and going to church or such. It's not a religious thing completely, open to all equally. I just use the bible because it's the one most understandable for our culture.

Can't expect to live in a society with no thieves if you yourself steal. Your presence makes it no longer such a society.

When it comes to the tower of babel, men were united under 1 culture. So they didn't fight amongst each other. If they had been let out into the universe, anytime they would have come across another race/culture they would have in their evil warred and enslaved the people. Proof of this is what they do after the cultures and languages are mixed up. They start doing that to each other. Once they were no longer alike and could see differences, the problem reared it's head.
