This video will really tug at your heart strings.

It is a compilation of the last words from the pilot's of airliners which were fated to crash.

Some are stoic. Some are angry. Some are at peace. Some are scared. Some never see it coming. These are the last words of our brothers in flight.

Oh my heartstrings are covered in tears my friend.
Last words are always hard to listen to.

I remember my fathers last words... *tear*

Honestly most of those do not sound like true "last words". Most of the pilots sound like they are talking to ATC and still describing the situation.

They had to see it coming and I would guess the true last words (from black box recordings) would be a big less diagnostic and a bit more emotional.

I have always heard the most common last words in situations like that were "Oh S***t" (or equivalent).

Very sad post
Makes it more sad to have heard the final words.

1995 - exercise in pacific ocean:- OH f**k, flame out on port, ejecting.
Pilot recover - broken neck, died on impact with ocean

1999 - East Timor - SH-70B Seahawk - from pilot - fire in aft cabin, senso attacking, lots of smoke, request free deck. pilot landed A/C on a FFG with 15% vis in the cabin and the sun setting.

Last time was off India in 2008, did not understand the pilot, but his mates on the carrier sure did. 9 ship companies said our farewells on return to port.
