Scientists who have mapped HIV's spread across Europe say holidaymakers infected abroad are largely to blame.

By analysing samples from 17 European countries, the international team tracked the movement of the virus around the continent.

Their map shows Greece, Portugal, Serbia and Spain are big HIV exporters, with many tourists to and migrants from these countries leaving with the virus.

The UK is an exporter and importer, Retrovirology journal says.

The same is true of Israel, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland, while countries like Austria, Belgium, Denmark, German

export and import. that is exactly what it is. for them it is only a bussiness. Poor Portugal, Spain and Greece. they leave from tourists right now. and except the HIV they have no other export in that crisis time.

when HIV will ruin the tourism they are totally screwed.

what is the reason for this kind of researches to go on. who is funding them?

Well from what i have seen through Greece, Spain, Italy, more and more tourists who visit those country's during summer just go wild, they have no self control. The most frightening part is that its the younger generation of tourists entering those summer spots have no idea what they are doing, its like there living their last days on earth. Sex with anyone and under the influence of large amounts of alcohol. I guess their country's are also to blame with so many strict rule forced onto their citizens as a result when they enter a country with relaxed rules due to their social structure they simply go wild.

you are right. this is something we can blame some of the governments. and this kind of conclusions I would be happy to see. instead we gat: use condon home and abroad. come on....

Always remember to cover your Lover

If your a girl BUY and CARRY condoms if going abroad.

It does not make you a "slag" etc, dont worry what your peer group or friends think, in another 10 yrs you will be in a new circle of people anyway and still healthy and have no "little confessions" to discuss with any life mate, before you get together.

If your a man use them to, At least she wont think it was over to quick either!!
