NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe told U.S. lawmakers worried about the Hubble Space Telescope's future that robotic servicing of the orbiting observatory appears to be more feasible than agency officials initially believed.

"It's looking a lot more promising than I would have told you a few weeks back," O'Keefe told members of the House Appropriations VA-HUD subcommittee during an April 21 hearing on NASA's 2005 budget request.

Interesting. I wonder if this will make it into the news.

I think the Hubble will be vaprorized. There is no way it is possible. There is no point of wasting people'staxes for seeing a useless historical telescope. Just look at pictures!

This is really good news if Nasa can get the follow through to pull it off, I hope. It would be a great waste to let this instrument fall into disrepair, its had an amazing run of discoverys and I don't think its been used to its fullest potential yet.
