I find it interesting that a news agency with a conservative slant is considered so evil by so many of us here in the conspiracy world. The claim seems to be that they lie, cheat and steal, all in the name of big business.

Yet, on Thursday CNN reported for a very brief time a story straight from Prison Planet talking about 4 states succeeding from the United States because they didn't like Obama. How is it any different? Obviously the story was false, and less obviously came from a story of the governor of Oklahoma saying that if Obama continued to turn us to a socialist state some states might consider seceding.

Why is Fox so bad? How is Rush Limbaugh evil but Michael Moore is bringing out the truth?

Now the hard part -- do you think that maybe, because your opinion is more liberal than conservative, that because you like to hear the lies from liberal bias it seems less evil than lies from a conservative bias?

Thinking of this as a Liberal/Conservative thing is playing right into their game IMO.

First of all Fox has been an obvious puppet of the Bush administration. This is not conspiracy theory stuff. They have been proven to work very closely with the White house and taking talking points from them. Now, regardless of what you think of Obama I would think that pretty much everyone on here agrees that the Bush administration was bad news. It's been proven many times and new info is continually coming out.

Second, like you point out, pretty much all news networks have some sort of political bias, this is probably unavoidable.
The problem I have with Fox is that in spite of a very obvious political bias and agenda, they clam to be "unbiased" and "fair and balanced" they actually make a pretty big deal out of it.

Third, I can't think of any institution that has done more to widen the gap between Liberal and Conservative.

They have been pushing this "culture war" as they put it, very aggressively, now whether this is to cater to their main demographic or part of something more sinister I do not know, but it is certainly not done for the benefit of the ordinary Joe.

Fourth, Karl Rove works for them. 'nuff said.

It completely boggles my mind that people who follow conspiracy theories seem to be believing Fox News now that they are jumping on the conspiracy bandwagon.

Seriously, we know these people have an agenda, and when they start agreeing with us is when we really need to question what it is and who they are working for.

I don't think anyone who knows anything will claim that Michael Moore is bringing out the truth, since it has been proven that he uses spin and outright lies in his movies for the sake of sensationalism.

As for the media, you're right: they're all cut from the same cloth. FOX News serves to stir up the Republicans, CNN the Democrats. In the end, they all have the same goal: a one world government where the rights of the people are eliminated.

UNDERSTAND THIS:

The media is under no oligation to report the "truth". Go to any of their websites and read the disclaimers.
I have to leave for the day and I don't have time to post them but you can start with ABC, NBC, CBS & FOX (my favorite slanter
)

They report what they want you to preceive....... Unfortunately, most of the "public" is uneducated or are "sheep" and not willing or able to seek out the "most truthful" "news"-if there is such a thing....

I'm convinced I will be seeing my 12 year old son coming home in a lttle "Brown Shirt" -reciting Nobama and Gore (again !!!). What a difference a few decades can make.

As said before, none of the news organizations are under any oath. They are simply mechanisms to help manipulate the collective consciousness. Tinging the way reality works with a particular emotional paradigm. Conspiracy sites work by the same rules, there are those who believe and those who exist just to mess with you. What can you do?

Those with an ideology will naturally gravitate to the media source that reinforces their view of reality. Media people know this extremely well; that is why A&R people are some of the highest paid people on the staff to craft an image, a look for the product.

News channels and the people that work, manage and own them are in business to sell advertising not report the news. Editorialize to appeal to a particular demographic and grab your slice of the ratings pie.

I watch Fox because the female "news" readers have big lips and short dresses..... But I despise the Saturday morning cartoon graphics and sound.
Flash, whoosh, sparkle, crash, bang......who does this type of aesthetic appeal to?

Critical thinkers?
