Iran Helicopters Strike Kurd Villages

Iran has been attacking Kurdish villages in North Iraq for years.
Mortars, missiles.

So they are using helicopters now.
hmm, ok, that is a bit out of the ordinary.

maybe they just want to give their pilots some real combat time?

afterall, its been a good 20-30yrs since Iran used its military hardware.

It does seem that I have misjudged the scale of this operation. Perhaps this will be used politically?

its odd to be using helicopters, but this will be ignored.

sure in a few months another report of Kurds being mortard by Iran will come out.

Maybe they were just trying to determine if the Kurds had any deployed anti-air capabilities?

Ugh! It's all guess work until some journalist produces something they will publish.
