Not exactly a short story, just some written words. Didn't know where else to place them.
Feel free to comment.
Physicians and Politicians and Primetime newsmen cure all ills;
with Pills and bills and primetime thrills...
Physicians with syringes, Politicains with gavels, Primetime newsmen with coarse speech;
CHIPPING at society's liberties. Rights designed to be guaranteed...
Doctors - Drug hawkers. Politicians - Squishin' education. Primetime newsmen - What's the new spin?
CONFUSION! CONFUSION! That's the new sin! The verdict was sin so we count it again.
CONFUSION - Hey Religious Institution! Those kids over there're learnin' evolution!
It doesn't say they can't in the constitution. CONFUSION! What's the Soluton?
Let Uncle Sam scan your hand, what an excellent plan.
But if he scans your hand, you're no longer a lamb.
CONFUSION - Hey listen to the Primetime newsman.
You're an ostrich now, put your head in the sand.

I was told I was Left a long time ago, even though I think I'm right most of the time.
I asked a guy about guns one time and he said "Right you are".
Thing is Both Rights and Lefts left our rights, for the right to be left alone.
Now we cling to what's left even though we were right there when someone left with our rights.
And now I'm left wondering how much of what's left is right, and rightfully so.
