U2U red flashy stuck...=(

How do I unstick my red flashy?

Delete or save your u2us.

It seems that as long as you have ANY messages in your IN BOX no matter if they are read of not it still shows you have unread messages. I had the same problem. I either had to SAVE or DELETE all messages in my IN BOX to get the U2U to go off.

This has infected me too! The disease affects people occasionally and you can read threads like this one every once in a while. I hope the above solutions work!

It does work! Whoo! And, no, sir, "they" see ALL! (And this character limit really sucks, as I have to type all of this stuff in parenthesis just to briefly respond to you. I can see the idea behind it, but this is ridiculous!)

It usually happens when someone sends you a u2u using a different capitalization scheme for your name. For instance, I will get a u2u sent to "Americandingbat" but because I don't capitalize the "a" in my username, it will stick my red light on until I delete or save it. Mostly I've just learned which people send me u2u's that stick the light, and delete/save those as soon as they come in
