Red Cross says doctors helped CIA "torture"

www.reuters.com

Health workers violated medical ethics when they helped interrogate terrorism suspects who were tortured at secret CIA prisons overseas, the International Committee of the Red Cross said.
The medical workers, thought to be doctors and psychologists, monitored prisoners while they were mistreated at CIA prisons and advised interrogators whether to continue, adjust or halt the abuse, the ICRC said in a report based on interviews with 14 prisoners in 2007.

That's pretty awful that the Red Cross would do that. Looks like all these folks are in cahoots.

I know one thing for sure now, and it's that if you're injured then you DO NOT want the Red Cross to come anywhere near you!

I could imagine the scenario:

Cops: Can we keep tasering this dude? Is he gonna die?
Red Cross: Vital signs still active.. keep tasering.
Victim: Arggghh!

Sounds very much like worker compensation doctors who do exactly the same thing allowing patients to keep suffering meanwhile they try their best to keep the treatments you need to a minimum, and yes this amounts to torture of patients.

Anyway, they are taking the words of people detained, i wonder if those interviewed were not biased..

It also sounds like we gave those who were fighting us, and we captured more rights than they ever gave to alliance soldiers, and others they decapitated...
