Charles Simonyi launches into space on Russian rocket

www.news.com.au

US software pioneer Charles Simonyi has became the first person to travel twice to space as a tourist, as he blasted off to the International Space Station (ISS) on a Russian rocket.
Simonyi, 60, along with an American and a Russian astronaut, was launched aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket at 11:49 GMT from the Baikonur cosmodrome on the Kazakh steppe.

Please read the rest of the article at the source. What i don't get is that these are relatively normal people, going into space. Maybe we should ask them what they are seeing up there. OR just ask them to take a disposable camera. It would be nice to get an interview with this guy, or one of the other Tourists that have been to space?

Or maybe one of us should raise the money to get up there lol. Thoughts?

Wow, thought more people would be interested in this. Does any one realise the implications? This regular guy, (yes he's a millionaire) but still, he doesn't work for or with the government, and he's been in space.... TWICE.

He would have had to see something? Apparently it cost him close to 35 mill to go up there.

Then again, what if he didn't see anything? If you think about it, if you really wanted to, you could save the money for your whole life, and go up there and get evidence. I can't believe an UFO enthusiast hasn't done this yet?
