Between Neptune and Pluto (a poem)

Between a prologue and epiphany
Try to breathe
Between the orbit and the season
Try to leave

Between the darkness and the fog
The tunnel's light, shadows clog
A heartbeat, but a moment's trust
Between the eons and the dust

Between the substance and the void
Try to live
Between the lightning and the fusion
Try to give

Between the starlight and the dawn
Where dreams in ether, fragile drawn
Become the taste of heaven's breath
Between our waking and our death

Between the passion and the pain
Try to turn
Between Neptune's love and Pluto's heart
Everything burns
