After the attacks last week which caused at least fourty American deaths, intense fighting continues in and near the Sunni Triangle. Fighting between
the Shiites and the U.S. Coalition Forces continues through out this portion of Iraq as heavy gun-fire continues. It is almost certain now that
victory in Iraq will come at an extremely high price.

Opinions such as "we started this one year ago strong but, now are beginning to loose balance" are coming to thought. Four slain American
Contractors were publicly mutilated in the Sunni Triangle just two weeks ago. Meanwhile in Baghdad, the streets turn even more leathal than
before.
All of a sudden, it once again looks a lot like full-blown war. Marines encircling a hostile town and calling in airstrikes from AC-130 gunships.
Kalashnikov-toting Iraqi fighters swathed in black roaming freely in several towns claimed as their own. Americans and Iraqis counting their dead and
injured.
Looks like all hell is breaking loose over there. Things aren't looking good.
