when i open up a web page click on a link or click a picture i hear the distinct "click" sound. Now what worries me is when i am just sat reading a page i can hear the same "CLICK" again as if i have left clicked,

why do i hear this? is there some one else in my computer accessing dater? i use a pay as you go dongle for broadband so its not like i have an open network.

You can "fix" it by going to the control panel and picking the sounds and audio devices. It is just the default windows sound scheme. The one you are talking about is ether

complete navigation
or
start navigation.

Some webpages are set to refresh automatically and it would invoke the click sound. news.google.com refreshes every 5 min I think.
