WTF?

no really - the bank was loaned £25 BILLION and the staff get a nice bonus? this stinks of corruption so badly - mismanage a bank and get a pay out for it.

looks like this sort of utter BS practise happens everywhere , golden parachutes to US banks , hong kong banks that have locked out customers paying off the directors - and of course this in the uk.

when the state took over, didnt bown say no more bonus's.

they have been given a bonus for doing their jobs as usual. wheres the tax payers bonus??/?
