The April 1954 Recovery and Disposal SOM1-01 manual

209.132.68.98...

discusses two EBE types.

EBE type I:

EBE type II:

it explains that both types have four fingers. Four.

Now if you've read "The day after Roswell", Corso says the entity he saw had six fingers. Six.

This is, for me, a disturbing discreptancy in what should in theory be very similar beings.

Yeah, page 34, "It was a four-foot human-shaped figure with arms, bizarre looking six-fingered hands..."

That's quoted right out of my book, obtained from amazon;-)

So, anyways, I'm doing stuff and tweaking the obnobulating device, surfing and come across this link which reviews Corso's book.

I don't know who owns or operates the web site, or who Michael Lindemann is, here's the url:

www.v-j-enterprises.com...

Anyhoot, I'd just quickly reading the page and then it hits me, it incorrectly quotes the book!

No big deal, but what does it misquote?

"It was a four-foot human-shaped figure with arms, bizarre-looking four-fingered hands "

What the? The book says six fingers, not four.

Maybe swamp gas caused him to hallucinate, seeing 6 instead of 4 fingers.

I dont see a problem here. Obviously the first reference
came from an observer who saw an alien picking its nose.

(Since they are aliens, I would suspect they could bag
boogers two fingers at a time, thus only four are visible)

Great job on the forward to the sight listing discrepancy.
I have that book in my library, but went to look for it and must have lent it out (gotta stop doing that) Corso is a pretty straight shooter i dont understand the mix up either. His insight into the tech stuff gleanned from the craft sure was interesting laser, metal, silicone chips,
all in a time when there were no such items. But why no opposing thumb ? even in the 6 finger version thats the part that still bothers me. makes you wonder!

I'm pretty sure he said 4 in the book, I think it's a misquote, but that seems to come up often with the Roswell case...

I'll check the book when I get home tonight, as I have a copy....

Corso says 6 in his book.

The SOM1-01 says 4.
