McCain T-shirt gets man cuffed, stuffed

A man wearing a McCain-Palin T-shirt during a Philadelphia celebration on election night was arrested, cuffed and stuffed into a police cruiser, and supporters said it was for no more than wearing the endorsement of the GOP nominees for president and vice-president.

The thing I want to know after seeing this is, what are the laws regarding obeying a cop trying to stop something that isn't illegal?

While I am sure that in this case, they can use some other law to label him being there where he is outnumbered by the Obama tribe.

I dont really think this is an issue of the police and the guy with the McCain shirt, I think it was more about the fact that everyone around the guy with the McCain shirt was getting out of hand and the police didnt want it to escalate. Yeah they cuffed the guy and took him out of the crowd. But I think it was for that reason. I could be wrong.

Don't interfere because regardless you could be charged with obstruction.

Is 'obstruction' and 'obstruction of justice' the same thing? If so, wouldn't prohibiting legal behavior be obstruction of justice? Or is justice served in maintaining 'order' that would be lacking from the Obama tribes inability to control rowdy behavior?

Regardless the reasoning, put the shoe on the other foot. This will sound racist, but it isn't intended to. Imagine if the police had handcuffed and 'arrested' a black man who had wandered into the middle of a klan rally "for his own safety." The uproar would be phenominal.
