I have a similar dvd player and it will play standard cd disks. You probably just need to copy the media to whatever type of disk like you are backing up data from your computer and the dvd player will display a folder list just like explorer. Then you just choose the file be it divx, xvid, mpg, jpeg...whatever. I also have usb connection on my player where I can just plug in an external drive or thumb drive and play all the media contained. Not sure if you have that option but if you do it's a great way feed the player because you don't need to burn disks.

i can answer this 100%

If it says it plays divx
You can burn as file and finalize disk...

Or do like my sister does...she burns 4 or 5 divx movies on one dvdr
works allso.

you can even use windows built in burner..on cd's drag and drop and burn cd..works allso.

just remember you cant burn over 702mb on a cdr..

and always remember to burn as a file..not movie disk ect...FILE
