American Mythologies: Obama and Palin

It occured to me this morning that Palin's mythology and its reactionary Right trappings, was up against the one that the media sought to create about Obama (terrorist, radical, etc.)

Both stories were about fear, but Palin's was in part self-perpetuated. Obama's was just negative hype.

Any thoughts? I write this as a Canadian and see shades of white supremacist militia groups in Palin's "brand"...this woman is downright scary and I'm glad she is off the U.S. national scene, for now.

How the heck could anyone be afraid of Palin?

What link to white supremacy do you see? Perhaps the media got to you, Since the only thing the MSM did was tear down Mccain and Palin and put Obama on a golden pedestal.
