Question: When GW Bush was last time in front of large public?

Question pop up to my head, when I was thinking about this "Obama Hype" going on...

I remember news, was it from last Republican party meeting, (In Boston?), where Bush attended to some sport event, and kick some opening ball to some game, and air fulfill with huge Booooos!!!! And yells. ( About 8-9 month ago )

Then was thought raised up, that maybe it was this his last shown in front of large audience.

When Bush has seen lats time in front of average public in large happening?

I also noticed that we haven't seen as much of the lovable little monkey man.
I wonder how it feels to be one of the most hated people in the country and the president at the same time...
