Sirius A Real Jewel In The Night Sky

Been keeping an eye on Sirius these last few days and what a sight to behold.. lately here on ats been reading threads like

1. Bright Flashing Light
   
2. Bright Star/UFO In The Sky
   

and after watching through the binoculars tonight i could certainly see why people would confuse it with a ufo.. it had a red center and flashing blue around the center.. through the binoculars it looked like a jewl containing all the colors in a rainbow.. truly humbeling sight to behold..

anyway just wanted to share that.. and if you get a chance get out and see sirius just below and left of Orion..
