Hey guys, thought I might post this up for all to see, I have posted coordinates elsewhere before some time ago but they were probably in the wrong section, so got ignored.

I just remembered it again so have taken the liberty to get a pic of it as well as the coordinates.

Coordinates: 11°47'17.60"N 85°51'22.19"W

I think it's pretty amazing the timing of the satellite passing over as it's smoking/erupting.

I've always wondered how often the google earth images are updated? I loaded the program once, but got rid of it because I didn't think the photos were current.

I think this particular area was last shot in 2006.

So it's a couple of years old at least.

Ok after a bit of research I haven't found the name of this particular volcano yet but I did find THIS place that has information of all volcanoes in the Nicaragua area.

The search continues, if anyone has any details post them up!

It's smoking in Microsoft virtual earth as well, not much but it is noticeable.

In fact, I'm not sure because I can't use google earth right now, but that lake it's in looks like a really big caldera, but I'm not sure, I'll look it up.

Interesting, maybe it is like a chimney to the other surrounding volcanoes, so it's continually smoking.

Here's one that's been going on for about 25 years. Wish they would do something about it. Where's the EPA when you need 'em?

19.381110°, -155.107450°
