When i see this video for a moment i smile, they really believe we can think they read and write 425 pages!!! but in the other hand i was worry... think how many things are let say between the lines in this biil??

Did they read the 900+ page "Patriot" Act either before voting?

Seems they didn't do it for that either.

What a travesty that we have a system that allows pork, and doesn't allow reading what they're voting on.

No wonder it's going to hell in a handbasket.

Very few congressmen read the bills . . . some noobs may for a while or if something comes up that they take a real intrest in (read lobbied).

Standard practice it seems is to have an assistant read it and give a general overview of the thing and how "they" think the congressman should vote.

And yes . . . it's truly sad.

I'm pretty sure the pages were still hot on the Patriot Act when they voted for it. It was literally impossible for them to read it before voting.

I've seen lots of stuff on that.
