Seven years after September 11 attacks, US policies towards al-Qaeda have not protected American citizens, a Newsweek article says.

In 2001, Osama bin Laden and his deputy Ayman Zawahiri were living in Afghanistan. Their hosts, the Taliban, possessed only primitive weapons, according to the article.

Today, however, bin Laden and Zawahiri are almost certainly living in Pakistan. Their hosts, the Pakistanis, have an arsenal of nuclear bombs and missiles, the article added.

From what I have researched, the evidence points to Israel and the u.s and secret sponsors of al-qaeda.

Reminds me of the Pied Piper who brings the rats to a town and then charges everyone money to 'pipe' the rats away to another city.
