Welcome to the new Cold War.

In what is tantamount to America's Truman Doctorine, Russian President Dmitri Medvedev has basically said Russia will confront the U.S. in Eastern Europe and the Mideast.

Read Medvedev's seemingly benign statements here.

I think we can sum up Russia's new dangerous foreign policy: Confront the U.S.

We cannot accept a world order in which one country makes all the decisions, even as serious and influential a country as the United States of America.

I'm guessing he's referring to NWO?

Please change the thread title, it's extremely misleading.

Peace

the russians have a point here, it isn't ideal to have one country calling all the shots without fear of reprisal. a multi polar world would be preferable to me aswell. but two powers isn't enough, four would be better, europe and china should get the finger out.

personally, i feel europe needs to be very careful of russian aims in this regard, especially when we've welcomed the ex-iron bloc states into union-ship with us.

They know mad still exists, and america cannot really do anything.

It will be interesting to see what these things mean for the worlds future.

The key part of the statement is here:

Second, the world should be multipolar. A single-pole world is unacceptable. Domination is something we cannot allow. We cannot accept a world order in which one country makes all the decisions, even as serious and influential a country as the United States of America. Such a world is unstable and threatened by conflict.

I can't really disagree - the US is trying to impose it's will on the planet, and the Russians are saying "Nyet".

If we try to force our "global dominance", frankly we deserve to see our cities go up in mushroom clouds.

That's what happens when you try to take over the world

I have been a long time lurker and this is my first post (please be gentle).

I have often thought of the John Titor comments about the Russians. To the people who oppose the NWO and US foreign policy, are the Russians actually the Allies?

They are standing up to the US (or at least they appear to be). They seem to be saying enough is enough (as do some other people in the world). If the Russians eventually fall into line with the US, wouldn't that be one step closer to the NWO? If the lines are being drawn and the Russians stand up for what they think is right and it is what some other non-Russians think is right too, who are the allies and who's not?

I have to admit I'm a bit torn on this issue and would like to hear from others.

Thank you in advanced, I have wanted to post for a while but have always been a bit scared...I love this site!

Russia and neighboring countries (anybody that goes against our western interests) They are our only hope. U.S has to conquer Russia to create the NWO, because Russia and neighboring countries have a different sphere of influence. Russia is against our Western interests so yeah they are virtually the ones that are keeping this NWO puzzle apart.

Hi There,

Interestingly, I remember somewhat vaguely of Edgar Cayce predicting that for the salvation of the world we should look to Russia. The full context of what Cayce was stating escapes me at present, but I'll see if I can dig out the statement for better illumination.

Best wishes

Hi There,

Here it is...

Edgar Cayce Reading 3976-29, June 22, 1944:

12. What then of nations? In Russia there comes the hope of the world, not as that sometimes termed of the Communistic, of the Bolshevistic; no. But freedom, freedom! that each man will live for his fellow man! The principle has been born. It will take years for it to be crystallized, but out of Russia comes again the hope of the world. Guided by what? That friendship with the nation that hath even set on its present monetary unit "In God We Trust." (Do ye use that in thine own heart when you pay your just debts? Do ye use that in thy prayer when ye send thy missionaries to other lands? "I give it, for in God we trust"? Not for the other fifty cents either!)

Best wishes

this romantic view of russia i find alittle bizarre, russia is going to free the world, russia cant even free its own people.

its all apart of the plan, with the war on terror loosing credibility a new "threat" is needed to help the governments establish more control over the masses.

Russia/US there just different sides of the same coin...

Sounds like a religous revival connecting the USA to Russia in both lands... Like socialism with, G-d at it's center

Which, would not be impossible to have happen...

Maybe?

Maybe after a very close call here yet again, Republicans come to office in America and a Religous leader assumes ofice in Russia and... a return to morality calms down Islam (because I think godlesness freaks them out more than Islam vs Christianity does)

and maybe that's what he is saying?

Or is he saying that we don't pay back our debts and they lad to world to turn on us

One or the other...
