O.P.P. from Wawa Ontario discovered a old plane wreck with no identification or records to place it.

I am posting this for our resident aviation buff who may recall such a plane lost some time ago.

Wawa OPP received a report of what appears to be the remains of a plane in the St. Julien Lake area northeast of Dubreuilville. It appears to be a small plane, possibly float plane and appears to have been there for many years.

Good news. Mystery plane solved.

Information obtained from a web site called the Golden Years of Aviation revealed that the plane in question was a Fokker Super Universal and that the plane had crashed on St Julien Lake during a landing back on the 19th of December, 1937.
