Interpreting the MUFON Stephenville UFO radar report: What does it say?

www.ufodigest.com

POINTS TO CONSIDER

According to Schulze and Powell, the following elements emerged in their investigation:

1) Several radar facilities in the region surrounding the Stephenville, Dublin and Selden region provide radar coverage for that area. Some of this data was provided to the investigators.

2) Military commands in the area did provide some helpful information, but other information did not seem to be forthcoming in response to Freedom of Information Act requests by the investigators.

3) Several military aircraft were in the skies the evening of Jan. 8, 2008, and were conducting flights in the nearby military operating area (MOA). Some of these military aircraft had transponders turned on and some had transponders turned off. Some military flights veered into civilian airspace over the Stephenville region. There is no immediate explanation for this.

4) The investigators suspect that an Airborne Warning and Command System (AWACS) aircraft was circling the area, based on radar data.

5) A very large unidentified craft or object was detected by radar. According to the report, “This object had no transponder and was tracked on radar for over an hour. Most of the time, the object was either stationary, or moving at speeds of less than 60 mph. At 7:32 pm, the object was tracked accelerating to 532 mph in 30 seconds and then slowing to 49 mph only 10 seconds later.”

6) The location and direction of flight of this object correlated with the reports from reliable eyewitnesses on the ground.

There is not a whole lot new here, but it is a rather nicely succint list of all of the data and it's interpetation.

S & F this is truly a very good find. I'm going to look at the data myself. Thank you for posting this, alot is happening right now, I wonder how long they can keep it up?

Isn't there already a thread on this here?

www.abovetopsecret.com...'

I have read the entire report and seen all the charts.. Something significant was occurring which the military then lied about and then changed it's story. An entire flight of F-16's does not deviate large distances like this for a training sortie, especially seeing as the deviation took the F-16's and the AWACS quite far into civilian airspace (illegally) and dangerously close to civilian aircraft coming and going from DFW airport. We have the public lies by the military in the media shortly after these events transpired, and we have the private lies the military gave MUFON in response the FOIA requests. If the military is that concerned about radar data of training sorties, then why the secrecy if nothing else was going on. Civilian authorities like the FAA were willing to cooperate with the requests for information but ALL military facilities asked to provide information on the date in question gave the same excuse in response to the FOIA request.

If this inormation is really so critical to national security that they don't want to respond, then why didn't they just say so instead of stonewalling the FOIA requests? The only excuse given by the military was that the data tapes were written over. But from ALL military radar stations and ALL aircraft involved in these events? That is extremely difficult to believe seeing as the civilian authorities had a wealth of radar information to bring to the table, while the actual military radar stations are much more numerous than the civilian ones in this area. The area of these unknown radar returns is literally surrounded by military facilities..all of which have multiple radar stations in and around their facilities..

And the lies from the military are actually not that surprising. They said that no aircraft were flying around on the night in question (remember that? It was in nearly all of the original stephenville UFO news stories in the MSM). But they then decided to change their story and say that there WERE aircraft flying around at this time but only for training sorties. Then why did people on the ground see military F-16's chasing unknown objects? And why did these aircaft ALL deviate so far from the normal training routes that they illegally ended up hundreds of miles into civilian airspace where military aircraft are restricted? And not only that, but in the process coming so close to transitting DFW civilian aircraft that they could very well have been endangering public safety?

The unknown radar returns all had no transponder activated, and we have no way of knowing what they were or why they were there. But in one instance an unknown object passes within a mile of the formation of F-16's but none of these military aircraft responded to the object in any way? This kind of information is very revealing and the more evidence you have then the more stumped the skeptics become. A well-known SETI scientist who believes aliens are real but not flying around here on earth inside UFO's asked this very MUFON investigator some extremely difficult questions on Larry king Live. But the MUFON investigator always came back with a valid and profound response. Even the SETI scientist himself seemed to blush and look stumped..

And then we have extremely credible witnesses continuing to come forward with their incredible UFO accounts.. Astranauts, pilots, military personnel, etc..etc..etc...

These are a couple examples...

Well-known apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell comes forward about UFO experiences and claims aliens are real.

Ex-military nuke officers come forward about their experiences with UFO's causing nukes to malfunction (video evidence included).
