The Democrat Controlled Congress has reached a new historical low.

The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category.

Rasmussen

Maybe people are starting to wake up and realize what is really going on. It is heartening to see that while there are still plenty of "Bush Bashers" out there, the vast majority understand the truth.

I saw this awhile back and thought it was hilarious. What made me laugh even harder was Wolf Blitzer's interview of Nancy Pelosi where she made this statement:

"God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States -- a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject," Pelosi told CNN's Wolf Blitzer in an exclusive interview.

Now if I'm not mistaken, Bush's approval rating is 3x the approval rating of congress. I'd really like to know Pelosi's definition of "total failure". I find it beyond stupid for her to make any statement about Bush being a total failure when she is such an essential part of the worst congress in the history of this nation.

Hmmm, seems socialism isn't all that popular.

Good to see.

Pelosi, Helms and YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAA Dean have done a wonderful job, eh?

Unfortunately they control this country and they don't seem to have a sense of humor. People often forget that not a dime is spent or law is passed without Congress doing it. Focusing the attention on Bush has allowed this do nothing Congress to escape the attention of most Americans.

They have continuously set new records for lowest approval rating in polls for the last year or so and few have seemed to notice. Remember all the promises they made at the last National Elections if we would just give the Democrats control? Well they have control and what have they done? Nothing!

I see this morning that more than 75% of Americans want drilling for domestic oil to proceed immediately. Pelosi's answer is - hell no, I won't allow a vote to ever happen. If a vote did occur it would pass by a landslide right now. What that means to me is that Pelosi and Dean have assumed the role of Dictators and what "We The People" want means nothing to them.

If anyone believes that there is a substantive difference between Republicans and Democrats in the leadership, have I got a bridge for you to buy
They debate, argue and pretend to disagree for our consumption and then share a cocktail and enjoy a laugh at our expense when the camera's stop rolling.

Actually, Pelosi's more likely response to what the American people want probably goes something more like this:

"Who the hell do they think they are? Don't they know we liberals are in charge? The American people should just sit down, shut their mouths, and do as they are told or else. They can kiss my ass and go to hell because we are going to do what we want!"

Now, my apologies to the mods for the strong language above but it really is representative of our "leaders" mentality.

Its a sad day when citizens are treated like subjects by the employees of the citizens.
But its even more sad when the citizens do nothing.
UNITY,DEMONSTRATION,BOYCOT,and I would add RECALL,it worked in California.

The real sick humor in this is that the Democrats are using this disapproval to GAIN seats...by springboarding off of Obama's rhetoric of change and his celebrity appeal. It would be hilarious how tragically uninformed that massive are, if it wasn't so sickeningly tragic.

Of course, the right's not a great deal better, but at least they have a modicum of respect for personal rights, generally.

Bold font to show how I believe they think. They're elitists, including Obama.
