McCain predicts 'spectacular' terror attempts in Iraq

politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com

(CNN) — John McCain said Friday he expects the presidential election this fall will increase the occurrence of "spectacular" terror attempts in Iraq.

Speaking at a General Motors facility in Warren, Michigan, the presumptive Republican presidential candidate touted the decrease of violence in Iraq, but said Al Qaeda is not yet defeated there.

"I predict that they will make an attempt as we get in to the election season to make more of these spectacular kinds of attacks which they're still capable of doing," he said. "The suicide bombers, et cetera, would not surprise me and we've already found out that they're going to try and step up their attacks and try and do things in a more spectacular fashion so that they can erode the support of the Maliki government."

When in doubt fear monger... its been the Republican fail safe policy since 9/11 and people are sick of it. They think we are all a bunch of idiots who will run and vote for them when they wave the red flag.

If any party deserves to lose and lose big this November its the party of movement conservatism.

"Vote McCain!" That is what this drunkard was saying...yelling...over and over again as we left the Ween concert in DENVER this last Thursday. Annoying, but not as annoying as these politicians using terrorism to gain the backers they need to stroke their backers. Tis a sad state of affairs.

And McCain is the first to launch a negative attack ad against Obama... when you have nothing to run on besides the same old same old and people are sick of it... use fear and negativity. Its disgusting.

www.huffingtonpost.com...

John McCain gets aggressive in his new ad, accusing Obama of changing his position on the Iraq for political reasons and ignoring Afghanistan in the Senate. He also released a 17-page booklet attacking Obama's foreign policy, complete with the candidate's once-used, much-mocked seal.

ANNCR: Barack Obama never held a single Senate hearing on Afghanistan.

He hasn't been to Iraq in years.

He voted against funding our troops.

Positions that helped him win his nomination. Now Obama is changing to help himself become president.

John McCain has always supported our troops and the surge that's working.

McCain. Country first.

JOHN MCCAIN: I'm John McCain and I approve this message

What I love about attacks like this is that they essentially say to change one's mind and to grow and develop is wrong and to be inflexible is good.

And that is why the Republican party is dead meat this election cycle.

When are people going to learn it doesn't matter, that they are both as bad as each other they are both controlled by the same people.
Do you think its just a mere coincidence that Obama shares a relative with Dick Cheney?
Think of the small amount of black politicians there are period compared to whites.
And the most publicized important one who gets to run for the top job, has a distant relative to Cheney.
Obama talking about troop withdrawal from Iraq and Bush is talking about invading Iran?
They would only get sent to some other war anyway like Afghanistan as they are having massive problems there atm.
Did you ever think Obama wants to withdraw the troops from Iraq, to send them to Iran?
