"We want to tell the world that those who conduct their foreign policy by using the language of threat against Iran have to know that our finger is always on the trigger and we have hundreds and even thousands of missiles ready to be fired against predetermined targets," Gen. Hossein Salami, commander of the Revolutionary Guard ground forces, said on state TV.

What is with these mixed signals they're sending? It's like they threaten us, but don't want us to launch a preemptive strike so then they say something like "but we don't want a war!". I think they'll actually be the ones to make the first move unless the cause the tension to be so tight that Israel just gets fed up with it and starts lobbing missiles into the country.

It's about money. Oil is going at a record price, Iran has a butt load of it and they want to keep the price high. They know that with the military they have they could not withstand an all out attack by us and Israel, but they want it to appear as if we are on teh verge of war to keep the oil price up.
